Application Process and Costs
The prospective student is encouraged to apply as early as possible before the application
deadline as class size is limited to 20 students. All application materials must be complete and
on file before the applicant will be considered for admission.
After the application packet has been received in full, the prospective student will be
contacted for a required interview. After the interview, notification of acceptance or denial will
be mailed. If the prospective student is accepted and has made the decision to attend the
program, a $300 enrollment fee is due as this secures your class space. The $300.00 enrollment
fee is applied towards tuition.
NC Licensure
On November 6, 1998, Governor James B. Hunt, Jr. signed the NC Massage and
Bodywork Therapy Practice Act, thereby establishing and advancing massage therapy as a health
care profession in North Carolina.
This new law has brought about many positive changes within the massage therapy
profession such as respect, accountability, protection of client and therapists rights, increased
awareness, opportunities for new relationships with other health care professionals, and assurance
of high quality care.
